Hazy, Lazy, Crazy Days in the Village

It's officially summertime in the Village! The days are long and the nights are warm and the array of things to do and see is nearly endless. Be sure to make time to enjoy some of these many. many fun events this summer:

Summer Day Camp at Maplelawn Farmstead
9575 Whitestown Road, Zionsville
This 1930's era farmstead will hold a day camp. Campers will spend lots of time outdoors enjoying a wide variety of learning activities, such as gardening, building, gaming, cooking, crafting, and creating. Led by Boone County Historian Marianne Doyle.

Home Restoration Workshop

Zionsville's Maplelawn Farmstead

Regional experts will be presenting information on a variety home restoration topics:
- Window Repair and Weatherization
- Exterior Painting
- Planning a Rehab from the Ground Up
- Hiring and Working with Your Contractor
Registration begins at 8:15am. The four sessions run from 8 am to 4pm followed by an optional tour of Maplelawn Farmstead. The cost of the day long workshop is $10.00. Lunch is on your own- or bring a sack lunch.
