Saturday, April 15th 10am – noon  

Please come lend a hand in the effort to eradicate an invasive species from our lovely parks by attending the 8th Annual VRA Garlic Mustard Pull, Saturday April 15th from 10am to noon at Creekside Park  (map) . Feel free to come by for 15 minutes, the whole session, or sometime in between.

All you need to bring is a pair of garden gloves to help out. Long pants and sturdy shoes are highly recommended. Trash bags will be provided by the Zionsville Parks Department.

Mindy Murdock, Zionsville  Park Naturalist,  will kick off the session by describing garlic mustard, its effects on local habitats, and how to identify and collect it.
