Letter from VRA President
Summer time (for a ?)
As we move into the heat of the year when corn is much taller than knee high by the 4th of July, it makes me wonder how much faster we are growing as people both physically and industrially than even 30 years ago.
I believe our South PUD update meeting went well last week and understand it was our 14th VRA South PUD committee meeting this year. I applaud and thank our team for the progress we are making so far.
We are going to keep working with the town and continue to encourage comments, ideas, and critiques as our Village is filled with extremely intelligent and caring people. Let’s keep working on a plan for smart growth.
I am writing from Denver as I help my daughter get situated for her first job out of college and will add that – after sleeping on an air mattress in a one-bedroom, $1,800 a month nice apartment for the last week – this is not luxury…
Enjoy the Village life, make summer a time for (fill in your choice) and have a happy July!
Bret
P.S. Put Saturday, September 21, on your calendar for our annual Picnic on the Bricks. All Village residents are welcome to attend the block party and meet neighbors from all parts of OG Zionsville.

Village Walking Tour – update!
If you haven’t had a chance to check out the new Village walking tour of Century Structure homes, now is the time! Scan the QR code below to see all three tours. They start at the SullivanMunce Cultural Center, 490 W. Poplar Street, or CoHatch / North High Brewing (formerly the old church on Main Street). Each one takes about an hour and you can go at your own pace. They can even be done by car for those with ambulatory concerns.
