Fall has crypt in!

While you’re not going to find any bitcoin at the Sullivan Munce Museum, you may find a sarcophagus and a mummy or two as they are having the annual Ghostwalk next week!  Watch out for ghouls and goblins running about as they look for treats and the skies darken quickly.

The annual picnic on the bricks had a great turn out and our live music was amazing from Dan (the man) Wyatt.  A special than you to our events committee (Aaron, Erin and Danielle) for all of the work you put into this and all of our events – Progressive Dinner in December… only members of the VRA get an invite so get your dues in!!!

Road closure/traffic note: Midwest Paving plans to start work in the Village next week.  Elm Street is one road that is getting worked on in the business district and could see activity as early as Monday 9-30-24.

Speaking of development, the work on the new comprehensive plan is under way.  Don’t forget to fill out the survey  here:  Uniquely Zionsville as this will directly affect your living.

Our next meeting is Tuesday October 22, at 7:30pm at Sullivan Munce Museum.  This is our annual meeting where we get to vote for a new president of the VRA!  Don’t bring your neighbor so we can vote them in and surprise them with the announcement.  I am looking for a replacement, please feel free to contact me and I can give you a rundown on the responsibilities and how easy the board actually makes it on you if you are worried about a time commitment but want to be involved.

At our meeting we will have a guest speaker… Jarod Logsdon, CPRP, Superintendent of Parks and Recreation, Town of Zionsville, who will talk about DORA as well as the upcoming Lincoln Park Refresh.

Looking forward to the Ghostwalk this Friday and Saturday – Oct 4&5!!!
