Announcement|

Reminder that our October meeting featuring a presentation by the Zionsville Historic Preservation Committee is on this Tuesday at 7:30pm at the SullivanMunce Cultural Center.

For those of you with VRA meeting yard signs, please feel free to put them out.

The presentation will address the goal of creating a Village Conservation District which will focus on tear downs and new construction, as well as find ways to reconnect with our unique Historic Heritage.  If you are concerned with large houses being built on small lots and maintaining the charm of the Village this is a meeting that you will want to attend.  If you live in the Village you are a stakeholder in this effort and this is your chance to learn about what a Conservation District is and the plan for gaining approval for its acceptance.

VRA membership is at an all time high but we still don’t reach everyone in the Village.  If you have neighbors who don’t receive our e-mails but have a strong interest in this topic, please be sure to mention the meeting to them.

Also, if needed, we can also use a portion of this meeting as our annual VRA meeting.  We do not have any Board members planning to step down but if you would like to run for a Board position, please e-mail me and we will set up elections.

We will also be collecting dues at the meeting, if you haven’t paid yet for the year.  It is $20 for a family and $15 for an individual.
