I hope all of you had a very joyous holiday season and are off to a good start for the New Year!
We have a meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Janurary20 th and I hope you can make it!! At the
meeting we will feature a new business in the Village, Gables Bagels! Also, we will hear from
Mayor Stehr and Parks Superintendent, Jarod Logston who will update us on the status of
Lincoln Park.
In addition, there will be an open discussion on the Comprehensive Plan which is scheduled to
be discussed and voted on by the Town Council in February. While the Plan is basically
complete, I believe it is still a good idea for residents to continue to ask questions and seek to
understand the plan.
A discussion on the Road Re-Alignment project scheduled to begin sometime this year will also
be a topic if residents would like to voice opinions or ideas on this major project.
We will begin with our wine and cheese member reception at 6:15 with the meeting
commencing at 7:00. Please mention the meeting to your neighbors and encourage them to
come.
I feel strongly that the VRA can and should be advocating for the residents of the Village. The
more members we have the more impactful will be our voice to town leadership as we face the
challenges ahead and work to keep the Village the special place that we all enjoy.
