Upcoming Events:

  • Monday, March 2:  Zionsville Town Council meeting at 7:00pm at Town Hall. 
  • Wednesday, March 4:   Monthly Bird Walk with Zion Nature Center from 8:00-9:00am at Turkey Foot Park.  Join a Naturalist on the first Wednesday morning of every month for a casual hike to spot birds in our local parks.  This is a great way to explore Zionsville’s parks while learning about birds who call our town home.  All experience levels welcome.  They will have a few field guides and binoculars available to borrow.  
  • Wednesday, Marcy 4:   Zionsville Board of Zoning Appeals meeting at 6:30pm at Town Hall. 
  • Friday, March 6:  Youth Art Month Opening Receptions from 5:00-7:00pm at SullivanMunce Cultural Center, Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library, Goodman’s Jewelers, and Fivethirty Home.  Youth Art Month exhibition runs through April 4.  
  • Friday, March 6:  Art After 5 from 5:00-8:00pm at Art IN Hand Gallery.  This month includes student art from Zionsville Middle School.  Stop in for light refreshments and to browse many fine art items from their group of talented artists.
  • Saturday, March 7:   Zion Nature Center Summer Camp Registration opens at 9:00am at Zion Nature Center.  Registration must be completed in person at Zion Nature Center.  Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Children must be the correct age at the start of their camp to participate.  Camp fees are non-refundable.  


Upcoming VRA Events:
Saturday, March 14:   The Zionsville Fire Department will provide a one hour event for VRA members at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 14.  The event will include a tour of the fire station, Q&A session, and important safety tips.  The fire station is located at 100 N. Ford Road.  They recommend that visitors park across the street at Boone Village.

As always, please reach out to your neighbors and encourage them to join the VRA, as well as attend meetings and events.  The strength of our organization is in our membership and the more active members we have, the stronger our voice is.
