The Zionsville Lions Club is hosting its Third Annual Stories in the Park for preschool through grade 4 on Friday, June 7, from 10 am to noon. Attached is a copy of our flyer.
The purpose of the Lions Club program is to increase literacy and to promote a lifelong love of reading. The activities will include:
- a puppet show
- Reading to Clover, the dog that digs books (he is at the library once a month)
- Storytelling
- Brick Street Poetry Group activity
- Craft projects
- Introduction to Braille
- Acting out plays (grades 3 & 4)
- Read-aloud stories
- Exhibit from Zionsvillle Parks & Recreation
- Free book from Indy Book Project
- Visit from Hussey-Mayfield Bookmobile
